Unique Ways to Incorporate Drapery

At Event Lighting Rental, our goal is to provide our brides with unique and creative ideas in customizing their wedding to their own personal style. We want to encourage our Brides to consider using drapery to help add elegance and charm to their wedding. First of all, we need to get past the image of the plain white fabric being draped a crossed the ceiling. We want to embrace the beauty that drapery can bring to a wedding and the different ways it can be styled.

  • Add a Pop of Color

Adding Up-lighting to drapery is a great way to add light and color to your venue, especially if your venue is lacking natural light such as: Barns, Tents, and Ball Rooms.

  • Add Some Twinkle!

Adding Globe lights or String Lights to your drapery can add a touch of romance to your decor. For instance, you can add sheer drapery, globe lights, and some vintage pieces to create a unique and elegant sweetheart or head table.

  • Add Greenery and Flowers

What’s more beautiful than nature itself? Adding greenery or fresh flowers to your drapery will create the prefect touch to a garden or vineyard themed wedding. For example, if you’re going for soft and romantic look, garland added in with some blush roses can be intertwined with sheer or ivory drapery.

  • Chandeliers

Chandeliers are chic, but, not every venue is designed to support its glam. Thus, adding drapery will enhance the beauty of the chandeliers and transform your venue into a refined space.

  • Jazz Up your Arch /Chuppah

Let’s be honest. Arch’s or Chuppah’s can be plain and boring. But, if you add a touch of sheer drapery, chandelier and fresh flowers and floating candles, you can turn bland into beautiful.

  • Sheer Drapery

Sheer drapery is classy and elegant, you can either add color, lighting, or leave it natural. For my Barn loving Brides, enhance the beautiful wooden beams by adding sheer drapery and bistro lights!
